From the Editor, August 2017: This post was changed after Payoneer removed the $3 load fee on all designer payments. Read the update here.

We're excited to announce that Payoneer is now available to designers on DesignCrowd. At the same time we've introduced new features in MyAccount to assist you in managing your payout preferences.

Payoneer offers a number of benefits for freelancers

Payoneer is an online money transfer platform, popular with freelancers and available in 200 countries.

Benefits:
  • Free to receive your payouts
  • Non USD payouts are converted free to USD at the best market rates
  • Fast payment
  • Easy access to your cash
  • Lowest FX rates in the market at 2% e.g. Pay 2% to convert USD to Rupee versus higher rates offered by Paypal and Skrill
  • Availability in 200 countries around the world, including many countries where Paypal or Skrill are not available
  • Flexibility for payment by bank transfer or prepaid card

Learn more about Payoneer and register an account here. You must complete the full set up of Payoneer to be elibgle to receive payment. You can link your bank account or choose the prepaid mastercard option to access your payouts. If you have already registered with Payoneer, simply add your payment email address as a new payout method in MyAccount.

Managing your payouts

The new payment centre can be found by going to MyAccount and then clicking "Payouts" underneath Watchlist. If you have provided your payment details for PayPal or Skrill, you will have one payment account set up, which is the minimum requirement.

To add Payoneer, click "Add a payout method" and type in payment address. Then select if you want the account to receive payouts "Under $100" or "Above $100. It's optimal to set both payout amounts to Payoneer but you can choose a combination of accounts or Payment Providers.

We recommend you investigate which payment method or combination of payment methods can help you to minimise transaction fees. Depending on your location, different payment methods may have different availability and cost.

Over time, we will improve these features and add new functionality so that managing your payments is easier and more transparent.

If you have questions or feedback, please check out the Help/FAQ section on the site or contact our support team via the Contact page.
