A childhood passion for drawing has developed into a life-long creative career for India based logo, graphic, and Photoshop designer Biju A.K.
Growing up in his "innocent village" focused his artistic talents early, and prompted him to pursue his design dreams at a Fine Arts College.
With more than a decade of experience in the industry, bijuak, as he goes by on DesignCrowd, takes inspiration from nature and his religion.
He has earned almost $20,000 from entering contests, and puts his success down to participating frequently in projects and working hard.

My passion for...Logo Design, Graphic Design, and Photoshop Design from an early age. I started drawing pictures as a child, and was quite interested in pencil drawing, especially nature and portraits.
I grew up in an innocent village and this inspired me very much and nourished my artistic talents. After my pre-university course I had no other plan than to join the Fine Arts college. My life in the Fine Arts College changed my attitudes towards art. It opened many possibilities to a good professional life, as well as help satisfy my inner creative instincts.
Now I am enjoying my life as a freelance graphic designer, especially with world reputed companies like DesignCrowd.
I studied at...The Fine Arts College, in < a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thiruvananthapuram">Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala (Southern India) where I successfully graduated with a qualification in Applied Arts (BFA). I now have 10 years' experience.
Some of the best ways I come up with creative ideas are...I develop new ideas from my experience working on diverse client projects and applying the latest trends and allusions in the post-modern life.
My favorite designer is... Fellow Indian designer, Logocraft - ranked #8 on DesignCrowd's global rankings.
My design style can be described as...Symbolic.
What type of design work do you specialize in? Logo Design and Photoshop Designs.
I'm most creative when...I'm sitting alone, because I am filled with a mix of emotions and memories.
Right now I can't stop watching...Nature because I get new information on life from every moment.

The app I can't live without is...Facebook because I can reunite with my friends, especially fellow students from my college days.
My secret superhero power...Comes from God Almighty, because it is he who gives me the power to imagine.
The craziest thing I've done recently...Was my trip to Munnar Forest last month. It was quite a natural and wild experience. I was completely refreshed by the waterfalls, misty hills, and valleys.
When I'm working I like to listen to...Silence.
The latest design trend I see emerging is...Designs with more dimensions.
I discovered DesignCrowd...While searching for online work opportunities.
My top tips for designers to succeed are...Keep doing frequent work, and work hard. Try to concentrate on the projects which empower your talents and interests.
My favorite contest on DesignCrowd is...I really enjoy the moments I work with almost all the designs. For me all are challenging.
