Rejoice, for the day all gamers have been waiting for is finally upon us!
Today, Fallout 4 finally goes on sale, meaning that mysteriously, thousands of employees (and bosses too probably, who are we kidding...) will suddenly come down with an undefined, but definitely contagious bug for a week or so.
If for whatever reason you haven't been able to make it to the shops yet, or you are waiting for the weekend like a sensible person, you can start your survival adventure with some awesome post-apocalypse inspired designs. Enjoy!
What almost looks like a vector screen print makes this design bright and interesting. This design focuses only on outlines and shapes rather than the fill. That, coupled with the gorgeous contrast between the blue shapes (human body) and the fuchsia-pink ones (donut zombie) makes for a design that'll have people throw their money at the store. Also, come on - it's a freaking donut zombie.
Using playful colors, shapes with various line weights, and simplicity in packaging, all make this design seem fun and quirky – focusing on the playful side of eating zombie food.
Appealing and unusual packaging can truly make the difference between a sale and a flop; especially when the product competes with thousands of others on supermarket shelves.
Typography, color, grids and expert-level Photoshop skills make this "Mocktober" design eerie and intense.
Focusing on juxtaposition and contrast are the key elements which make this design so successful.
This amazing Photoshop landscape is sure reminiscent of Fallout. The extreme detail creates a surreal feeling, and using monochrome colors makes this design almost too real. Placing the image into a well-known landscape makes the vision doubly successful.
Sometimes zombies don't have to be all blood and gore – zombies can be colorful and fun, as this illustration proves.
This style relies on very strong typography design, which is reminiscent of graffiti. We love how each letter is formed by different body parts, especially the eyes forming the negative space in "b".
