"Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" Ancient philosophers formulated this circular dilemma thousands of years ago, questioning themselves about how life and all existence came to be. Not taking any sides in this issue, for the obvious reasons, I went on a unconventional egg-hunt, in a small quest to find some creative logos.
Egg inspired logos show a highly concentrated symbolism behind the concepts. Every design expresses various particular meanings and characteristics. Eggs convey many themes that encapsulate birth and the life-cycle, through to statements of faith, prosperity, and wealth creation. These characteristics of being dependable, innovative, and creative, are valued across most industries, which makes an egg a hugely appropriate symbol to incorporate into logos, especially start-ups.

So, what do you think? Did these egg logos stimulate some ideas for clients or your own design projects? Egg-inspired branding can be adopted into the visual identity of a company in many different contexts. Think business incubators, venture capital firms, financial advisory, photographers and film-makers, professional services firms from design studios to marketing and PR specialists who "hatch" ideas, to medical industry (fertility specialists, for instance), childcare centers and food and beverage industries like farm stock producers and cafes.
