DesignCrowd's Newest Customer Feature - The Voting Poll!
Tuesday, February 01, 2011
We are pleased to announce we have added a
to help customers get opinions and votes designs they receive on DesignCrowd. This allows project owners to create their own online voting poll of their favourite designs from their contest and get feedback and rankings from their peers and friends. To start a poll, a project owner must sign up to DesignCrowd and launch a project. The voting poll can be created in their project management tools and launched immediately. The voting poll can then be shared by 4 different means:
1. Email - This will email the poll to you so you can email it to your colleagues, friends and relatives. The reason the poll is emailed to your account is to prevent it being sent to spam, if the email comes from your own account your friends and relatives should get it no problem!
2. Twitter - Send your poll to your Twitter account and let your followers vote on your contest.
3. Facebook - Post your voting poll on Facebook and let your friends do the deciding.
4. LinkedIn - Ask other professionals and people you have connected with to give you feedback.
The voting poll has been set up to not only give you feedback but also a ranking based on what your friends, relatives and colleagues think:
The voters in the poll can enter comments, select how many stars they think the designs deserve and leave their details if they want to (they can also remain anonymous.) By allowing outside voting influence this leads to a more even and open contest where designers are critiqued by more than one person, allowing for more than one point of view.

The Voting Poll is now open so get your project in and get your friends' opinions today!
